From that gloomy February 2024, I remember the phrase of a famous lady commentator on our domestic politics about the increasingly developing impression that when everything that is happening now in the country is over in one way or another, then it will not be this or that political actors or groups who will agree on new rules of the game for the future Russia, but simply the survivors - those who will survive all this Yes, this may sound somewhat simplistic. And, of course, this sounds too gloomy. But the conclusion suggests itself: we must try to live on and bring the future closer. We must live to see it. And in no case should we forget those who brought the future Russia closer with all their might and who were not allowed to live.

«Сегодня Алексею Навальному могло исполниться 49 лет. Могло и должно было исполниться, но, к сожалению, в очередной раз в в день рождения мы вынуждены думать о смерти.
49 лет – это тот возраст, когда политик уже вполне может достичь высот на своем пути. Алексей был прирожденным политиком, и в демократической системе его безусловно ждал бы успех. Но и при
жестком авторитаризме он стал главным оппонентом власти, а затем и политзаключенным №1, раздражая режим даже из за решетки. Он был ярким, а диктатура такого не терпит. Диктатуре не нужны яркие оппоненты.
Из того мрачного февраля 2024 года мне запомнилась фраза известной леди-комментатора нашей внутренней политики о все более складывающемся у нее впечатлении, что когда все происходящее сейчас в стране так или иначе закончится, то договариваться о новых правилах игры для будущей России будут не те или иные политические акторы или группы, а просто напросто выжившие – те, кто переживет все это Да, это может звучать несколько упрощенно. И, безусловно, это звучит слишком мрачно. Зато вывод напрашивается сам собой: надо стараться жить дальше и приближать будущее. Надо дожить до него. И ни в коем случае не забывать тех, кто приближал будущую Россию всеми силами и кому не дали дожить.
