I'm afraid to celebrate the New Year in a pre-trial detention center
It’s gradually becoming a tradition – I’ve been meeting him there for the second year in a row. Well, in the pre-trial detention center you can quite note him.
I don't have a TV in my cell, but 31
December, to create a New Year's mood, my cellmate and I read aloud the play “Ivan Vasilyevich” - a collection of plays by Mikhail Bulgakov that was conveniently given to us in December from the library. I hadn’t read it before and was amazed how close to the text the famous film by Leonid Gaidai turned out to be. In general, we laughed a lot.
Of course, there were culinary “masterpieces”: there was a festive salad, dessert and drink. All recipes will be at the end of the post =) And at midnight and immediately after, we even managed to watch fireworks. The windows of my cell, located on the fifth floor, overlook the road and a field in which people periodically launch pyrotechnics. On New Year's Eve it was launched a lot, the view from the window was beautiful. So the New Year was quite a success.

Боюсь, встречать Новый год в СИЗО
постепенно становится традицией – встречаю его там уже второй год подряд. Что ж, и в СИЗО его можно вполне себе отметить.
Телевизора у меня в камере нет, но 31
декабря для создания новогоднего настроения мы с сокамерником прочли вслух пьесу "Иван Васильевич" – сборник пьес Михаила Булгакова нам как раз удачно выдали в декабре из библиотеки. Я ее раньше не читал и был поражен, насколько близко к тексту, оказывается, снят известный фильм Леонида Гайдая. В общем, много смеялись.
Конечно же не обошлось без кулинарных "шедевров": были праздничные салат, десерт и напиток. Все рецепты будут в конце поста =) А в полночь и сразу после даже удалось наблюдать фейерверки. Окна моей камеры, расположенной на пятом этаже, выходят на дорогу и поле, в котором люди периодически запускают пиротехнику. В новогоднюю ночь ее запускали много, вид из окна был красивый. Так что Новый год вполне себе удался.
