“In short: we definitely come to the polling station on March 17th and vote for Davankov.
It is important to vote on Sunday, March 17th, the last day of the three-day voting period. And vote exactly at the polling station and with a paper ballot, and not remotely - electronically (this is especially relevant for those who vote in Moscow - choose a paper ballot). That's it!
And now a little more detail about why all this is needed (in question-answer format):
1. Why vote if everything has already been decided?
Yes, most likely there will be no surprises in these elections. But it is definitely possible to spoil the mood of the presidential administration. We don't want to make their life easier, do we? And still, the more real negative votes there are in the ballot boxes, the more difficult it is to openly falsify the result. This is a universal rule in any election.
2. Why Davankov?
To be honest, it doesn’t really matter who you vote for. For anyone against Putin. It’s just that Davankov looks the most humane of all the candidates (which is not very difficult in the grand scheme of things). He is young, his program is quite acceptable. If he takes a confident second place with a double-digit result, then this will be clear evidence that a significant part of society is committed to change (let me remind you that the slogan “Yes to change!” is the official slogan of Davankov’s campaign).
3. Could this work?
Today's Russia is an authoritarian state. Russian elections are neither fair nor free, and certainly do not imply the loss of the current government. The system of election fraud at all levels has been built since Putin’s first term and is still working quite well. But this does not mean that there is no way to demonstrate the number of people who disagree with the current government. This can and should be done - on March 17th at your polling station.
4. Or maybe a boycott?
No. Boycott in our situation makes no sense. In the event of a boycott, the turnout will still be the one they need, and Putin’s result will be higher. And in general there is a Latin expression about boycott: de nihilo nihil, i.e. “from nothing comes nothing.” It is better to do everything in our power so as not to regret later. Moreover, it is not at all difficult.
Therefore, we come to the polling station on Sunday, March 17th and vote for Davankov.

“Кратко: обязательно приходим 17-ого марта на избирательный участок и голосуем за Даванкова.
Важно проголосовать именно в воскресенье 17-ого марта в последний день трехдневного голосования. И проголосовать именно на участке и именно бумажным бюллетенем, а не дистанционно - электронно (это особенно релевантно для тех, кто голосует в Москве - выбирайте именно бумажный бюллетень). Все!
А тепер несколько более подробно о том, зачем все это нужно (в формате вопрос-ответ):
1. Зачем голосовать, если все и так уже решено?
Да, скорее всего никаких неожиданностей на этих выборах не произойдет. Но испортить настроение администрации президента точно можно. Мы же не хотим упрощать им жизнь, не так ли? И все еще чем больше в ящиках для голосования будет реальных голосов против, тем сложнее откровенно фальсифицировать результат. Это универсальное правило на любых выборах.
2. Почему именно Даванков?
Если честно, особой разницы за кого голосовать нет. За любого против Путина. Просто Даванков выглядит самым человечным из всех кандидатов (что не очень сложно на общем фоне). Он молодой, его программа вполне приемлема. Если именно он займет уверенное второе место с двузначным результатом, то это будет явным свидетельством того, что значимая часть общества настроена на перемены (напомню, что лозунг “Да - переменам!” является официальным слоганом кампании Даванкова).
3. Это может сработать?
Сегодняшняя Россия - авторитарное государство. Российские выборы не являются ни честными, ни свободными и тем более не предполагают проигрыша действующей власти. Система фальсификации выборов на всех уровнях выстраивалась с первого путинского срока и пока вполне себе работает. Но это не значит, что никак нельзя продемонстрировать количество несогласных с нынешней властью. Это можно и нужно сделать - 17-ого марта на вашем избирательном участке.
4. А может все же бойкот?
Нет. Бойкот в нашей ситуации не имеет никакого смысла. В случае бойкота явка все равно будет нарисована та, которая им нужна, а результат Путина будет выше.
