“I saw the news that for alleged violations of Russian legislation, the court set a fine for Google - 91.5 quintillion rubles.
I don’t know if the court decision contains any calculations for assigning exactly this amount, but it seems that the court could simply remember that the very name of the company - Google - comes from the word “googol”, meaning a number with many zeros, and it would be logical, instead of calculating all these pitiful quintillions, to assign Google a fine of one googol rubles. Why not? The absurdity is so absurd.

«Увидел новость, что за якобы нарушения российского законодательства суд установил штраф для Google – 91,5 квинтиллиона рублей.
Не знаю, приведены ли в судебном решении какие-то расчеты для назначения именно такой суммы, но, как кажется, суд мог бы просто вспомнить, что само название компании – Google – произошло от слова "гугол", обозначающее число со многими нулями, и логичным было бы вместо высчитывания всех этих жалких квинтиллионов назначить Google штраф, в один гугол рублей. А почему нет? Абсурд так абсурд.
