“I saw in the Kommersant newspaper of January 20
interview
A. Dvorkovich, now the President of the International Chess Federation (FIDE), and once an assistant to President Medvedev (remember, there was such a thing) and later Deputy Prime Minister. In May 2018, he did not join the government, but soon became the head of FIDE. Now, apparently, he is doing what he loves and organizes tournaments within the federation, including in New York, Singapore, etc. And not without success.
So, I saw this interview, and it occurred to me that many high-ranking Russian officials could only envy Dvorkovich, both after a series of high-profile criminal cases against people from Medvedev’s team, and especially after February 2022.
There is a suspicion that they may also envy Ulyukaev, who also came out of this mutual guarantee before 2022, but through criminal prosecution and a prison sentence. But Dvorkovich, of course, left the toxic political clearing more timely and more technically.

«В газете «КоммерсантЪ» от 20 января увидел интервью А. Дворковича, ныне президента Международной шахматной федерации (FIDE), а некогда помощника президента Медведева (помните, было и такое) и позже вице-премьера. В мае 2018 года он не вошёл в правительство, но вскоре как раз возглавил FIDE. Сейчас занимается, судя по всему, любимым делом и организует турниры в рамках федерации, в том числе в Нью-Йорке, Сингапуре и т.д. И не без успеха.
Так вот, увидел я это интервью, и подумалось мне, что многие высокопоставленные российские чиновники могут Дворковичу только позавидовать, и после череды громких уголовных дел против людей из команды Медведева, и особенно после февраля 2022 года.
Есть подозрение, что завидовать могут и Улюкаеву, тоже вышедшему из этой круговой поруки ещё до 2022 г., но через уголовное преследование и тюремный срок. Но Дворкович, конечно, покинул токсичную политическую поляну своевременнее и техничнее.
