Peskov, elections were held in Russia on Single Voting Day. And one cannot but agree with him on this, especially if one does not take the word “transparent” to mean “transparent.” After all, a jar of spiders can be transparent too.
The elections really were exemplary - for authoritarianism. So exemplary that they should at least be included in training manuals for aspiring dictators. They also passed in accordance with the rules - the same endlessly changing rules that the presidential administration has been developing for many years and according to which any undesirable candidate can be prevented and ensure
any necessary turnout and result at the expense of the DEG, administrative resources, multi-day voting and other tricks.
We can also agree with the last element of Mr. Peskov’s quote, the word “clear”: everything has really been clear to us for a long time about the domestic elections.

Governor of St. Petersburg. So, taking into account the presidential elections, this is the second time I have voted in the pre-trial detention center! True, this time there was nothing interesting at all; I voted literally a couple of tens of meters from my camera.
